Important Part Of NLP

February 24, 2010 By: Diego Cooper Category: NLP

An important part of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is learning how to effectively communicate.

And as with all effective communication, NLP isn’t just about saying the right words, but it is about how you say them, the body language you use while you say them and making sure that you are being understood. This is vital in business ventures and it is just as vital in personal relationships. Leaning how to effectively communicate in all areas of your life can make all the difference in how much you achieve.

Beyond communicating with others, NLP also teaches how to communicate with yourself. It helps clear out the self-defeating thoughts, feelings and emotions and replaces them with positive things to help you work toward progress. NLP shows you how to better understand yourself and what happens in your mind to cause the reactions that happen in your body. You learn to open up to the possibilities around you and work toward finding a more opportunities that you can approach that are within your reach.

A major part of effective communicating is realizing that sometimes what you say and what people hear are two completely different things. NLP can teach you how to read people and be aware of their reactions to you – how to recognize if they seem confused or if they seem angered by your words. If they don’t seem to understand what you are saying than you need to adjust the way you are speaking to them.

NLP Practitioners – Understanding What They Do

February 22, 2010 By: Anthony Wilson Category: NLP

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) was founded in the early 1970’s but is only now becoming part of the mainstream.

While mainstream psychotherapy may still question the validity of the methodology behind NLP, devotees sing its praises – hailing it as a truly unique and highly effective approach to behavioural therapy.

By focusing on the idea that we create our own mental disorders and stand in the way of our own success, NLP teaches change from within.

Instead of merely trying to sedate the symptoms of a problem, NLP seeks to attack the root cause and find a solution. Not satisfied with just producing temporary results, NLP practitioners hope to deliver long term results for their patients and free them from a wide variety of problems holding the patient back from reaching their full potential.

As you attempt to classify hypnosis, one of the things you will notice is that you come up more unanswered questions

The reason why this is correct is because there are so many divisions amongst hypnosis teachers as to what hypnosis truly is. In a way these divisions are due to the fact that there are many different forms of hypnosis, such as Covert Hypnosis and Stage Hypnosis.

Hypnosis is merely a vehicle that induces an altered state of mind in a person so that this person becomes more suggestible. Suggestion is the very heart of hypnosis and it is important for hypnosis that applies to therapy and hypnosis that applies to persuasion.

Now, the simple formula hypnosis uses to achieve its purposes is known as the ABS formula. The ABS formula means that you first must absorb someone’s attention, then you must bypass their critical mind, and then you can stimulate the unconscious.

Hypnotic Mind Control Can Be Used For Your Advantage

February 05, 2010 By: Dr. Anthony Taylor Category: Hypnosis, Understanding hypnosis

There is a big problem to many of the approaches to learning hypnotic mind control, and this problem is the consistent reliance of Ericksonian hypnotic language patterns.

Most people know that words are cheap. Language does have some importance in hypnotic mind control, but language in and of itself will only take you so far.

Think about it, if we could simply utter a few hypnotic words into someone’s ear in order to hypnotize them, then we would all be filthy rich and living the exact type of life we wanted!

The truth is that it is not this easy. It takes a lot more than words to get what you want from others. In life also, we must use more than words to get the things we want from other people. It is impossible to master hypnotic mind control by only learning hypnotic language patterns.
