Are trying to quit smoking?
If you haven’t had any luck before in giving up the habit, you may want to consider using hypnosis. Quitting smoking is mainly a mental block; and if you picture yourself living a smoke-free life, then you will find is easier to give up smoking.
The first thing that you have to realize that hypnosis is not magic. Rather hypnosis uses your subconscious to help you attain your goal of giving up smoking. It makes you relaxed so that you do not have to take on the stress of giving up the habit which otherwise would have de-motivated you in your conscious state. When you are hypnotized, you are not in a state of sleep. Instead, you are in a relax state of mind that help you overcome all the obstacles that your mind creates and stops you from achieving things that need a lot of effort on your part.
Studies have shown that using hypnosis to quit smoking is twice as effective as using the nicotine patch or nicotine gum. While these products release small amounts of nicotine into the bloodstream in order to reduce the cravings for cigarettes, they may take a while to work, and some smokers report that they don’t see any changes in the frequency that they smoke. So, using hypnosis along with these treatments could prove to be very effective, since you will be working on the mind and body at the same time.

If you need to learn how to hypnotize people without spending a very long time persuading them to relax on your couch, then this article will help.
Firstly you may use The Dave Elman Induction hypnosis technique. This is focused on relaxing the eyes. The eyes need to stay shut across the induction.
After the patient relaxes his eyes, you tell him or her to permit this state of relaxation to spread throughout the body. You then count very slowly from one to 5, and pause between each number to tell the subject that he is continuously feeling more and more relaxed. When done correctly this strategy can have someone in a hypnotic state in just four minutes.
Another method you should consider if you wish to learn how to hypnotize people is the Handshake Interrupt. You start by introducing yourself to the patient. You should smile and make yourself appealing by employing positive body language. After that, you proffer your hand for a handshake. When the patient lifts his hand in order to shake, you quickly grab it with your left hand and raise it right in front of his eyes.

The brain is a truly amazing organ and our understanding of how it works and how we can learn from a subliminal recording is something that is always increasing.
Recently, more and more evidence is being unearthed to show that the brain is just as receptive to new information, for instance from subliminal recording, whilst we are asleep. In fact, the brain may actually be more efficient during this time as its regular source of external stimulation has been cut off.
The theory of being able to learn from subliminal recordings has been around in the popular domain for many years, but it has only recently been supported by research from leading neuro-scientists.

Is it possible to actually control someone’s mind? Scientists have researched different aspects of this subject. This is what I have found. Research shows that we may learn how to control someone’s mind.
Subliminal messages have been tried by various advertisers without much success. These are basically flashes during movies that are supposed to implant an idea in you mind, usually to buy a product. Research has found that, though they may have a very brief effect, it is very short lived and weak. Other factors may have much more influence on a person than these messages do.
Hypnosis is probably the most popular form of mind control. They even have hypnosis programs designed to help you lose weight or stop smoking. How much success is due to the programs is debatable because it could simply be the persons own will power that helps them the most.
While there have been experiments where people did things they considered morally or ethically wrong, the results in separate experiments with out hypnosis had similar results. It is believed that the people acted in this way even without hypnosis simply because they were told to by someone in authority and it was expected.

The idea of subliminal perception was once mentioned in the novel 1984, by George Orwell.
This idea seemed to catch on after James Vicary reported an increase in soda and popcorn sales during movies, when “Drink Coke” and “Eat Popcorn” were flashed on the screen.
Subliminal messages have been used in advertising for the past 30 years, as well as in self-help tapes. There has always been a desire to tap the unconscious processes of the human mind.
Many department stores have piped music laced with subliminal anti-theft messages through their stores, in hopes to curb shoplifting. People enjoy clothes they see advertised on television and songs they hear frequently on the radio. Spotting this kind of below-conscious message is all part of the fun of being involved in modern day life.

Subliminal suggestions are purely suggestions that are transferred to the subconscious mind.
Subliminal suggestion doesn’t mean a thing to your conscious mind and the subconscious absorbs suggestions whatever they are and at some or other time will manifest in a person’s actions such as how they behave or how they react to certain situations and may even affect their beliefs and values.
The word subliminal comes from the Latin words – sub which means under and limen which means threshold. You get two different types of subliminal suggestion.
A message is spoken and then it is recorded onto a disc and they call this back masking or otherwise you can write something on paper and this is then flashed on a screen at a high speed and this is a 25th frame.

A hypnosis spiral is a relaxation tool meant to bring your mind under a trance thereby making it more receptive to new ideas.
People undergo hypnosis for improving their self-confidence, behavior, thinking etc in order to achieve greater success in life.
Most of us experience some kind of mental blocks at some point of time, which often result in our journey of life getting cumbersome and less fruitful. Hypnosis is a tool that talks to our inner self and removes those imaginary hurdles put up by our minds. The process starts with an experienced hypnotist putting you in a trance and then implanting positive ideas in you.
A hypnosis spiral is very effective in inducing trance even in strong-headed subjects. While undergoing hypnosis, the subject is coerced into an extremely stress-free or half conscious state, or in the extreme, in an articulate pensive condition. During hypnosis, you move in and out of different consciousness levels in a seamless manner.

Hypnosis is not at all unnatural as it is a totally natural occurrence of one’s mind whereby your senses are heightened and if you know what trance is then you can identify and will learn how to perform hypnosis.
Hypnosis is an extremely useful tool whereby a person will follow instructions willingly when under hypnotic trance. Instructions in how to perform hypnosis are available in many books as well as courses being offered.
One cannot just perform hypnosis randomly though - you have to obtain consent from the person you want to hypnotise. Hypnosis is broken down into different categories like the professional type and the type you can do on yourself as well as the entertainment type.
Hypnosis and auto-suggestion must not be confused as they are different in many ways. True hypnosis takes a few sessions before positive results are seen and the medical fraternity use hypnosis frequently.
